    Noting that the climate change has indeed influence our earth seriously and cause damages to many countries,

    Recalling that many developed and undeveloped countries, we have already discuss on the topics of how to save our earth from destroying by the climate change

    Encouraged by the discussion that many countries have involved, and by being contributed many possible methods for resolving the climate change problems,

    Recalling that every country which concerns about the climate change issue are trying really hard to find the best, efficient solution for every country on the earth, hoping to reach the same understanding to solve this problem the faster the better,

    1. Stresses the seriousness of the climate change will affect every country sooner or later, every country should be aware of this issue and help as much as one could,

    2. Welcomes the contributions of money and methods by every country that concerns about the climate change problems; making effort to make the earth a better place to live

    3. Urges every country to consider climate change a dangerous conditions for everyone,

    4. Calls upon all the developed or developing countries to provide money for building factories that won’t destroy our earth; undeveloped countries can provide workers to work in those non-polluting factories;

    Developing Countries—Rough Draft. 2010/6/21

    Committee: Economic and social committee on climate change
    Countries: Brail, Venezuela, China, India, Iran, Nigeria, Vietnam, Indonesia

    Acknowledging the fact that the whole world faces a global climate change crisis, developing countries in this committee want to express that we are very concerned about this situation, and are eager to participate in saving our damaged environment.
    Aware of the current situation, we developing countries understand that high emission of CO2 is the one of the main factors that causes climate change, and we also bear in mind that a great amount of carbon dioxide is produced by developing countries. Also, the use of fossil fuel produces wastes, so often countries are being blamed for exporting major amounts of fossil fuel. However, consider this. Venezuela is an oil-based economy, and 80% of the countries’ exporting revenue is from fossil fuel. One third of the GDP in the country and also half of the government’s income come from exporting oil. It’s so important to Venezuela that the country’s economy depends on oil exporting. If a protocol is signed that states oil- exporting countries must decrease the amount that they export, surely it will heavily damage the economy and affect people’s lives.
    Further, countries such as China, India, and Brazil are very strong and big developing countries, and they are also the top three developing countries who emit the most CO2. Take China for example, many countries and people have blamed China for emitting such a huge amount of CO2, but the government has to think about how lowering the emission will damage the economy and decrease people’s quality of life before taking any actions.
    Having expressed our concerns, the developing countries would still like to say, if first world countries propose plans that will help our environment and not effect the economy (or will use someway to make up for economic losses), we developing countries would be happy to oblige. We trust that by collaboration, we can make the world a better place for the next generation.

    OK, this is good. Unfortunately, it’s not a draft resolution. You need to propose a solution in the operative clauses. And, more importantly, instead of writing out an entire paper about why your countries want or don’t want to do something, you need to write all of that via perambulatory and operative clauses.

    Resolution:
    Committee: Climate Change

    The General Assembly,

    Recalling many worrisome environmental problems in different countries due to climate change, including: changes in length in growing seasons, decreasing in food production in some countries, increasing of frequency in both floods and droughts in certain regions, the quickly rising sea levels in lower regions,

    Deeply concerned of both current and potential disasters climate change can bring to both our economy and safety of the population, including: abnormalities in agriculture, famine, damages of natural hazards, safety of the population living in lower sea levels,

    Alarmed of the serious environmental crisis currently happening to many countries,

    Reminding that man-made pollutions could be a major reason to Climate Change,

    Keeping in mind that more percentage of pollution came or are coming from developed or developing countries,

    Look forward to the cooperation of countries together, and hope that all countries suffering from natural hazards or harsh environmental crisis may be more assisted,

    1) Stresses the importance of controlling and reducing countries’ GHG(Green House Gas) Co2 admissions and following the Kyoto Protocol;
    2) Requests that financial assistance be given to countries with major environmental crisis;
    3) Urges governments to encourage the planting of trees within each of their territory, and letting the people understand benefits of doing so.

    Good start, but you need to be a bit more thorough. Give some specific plans for how you are going to fix everything. How much will it cost? Where will you get the money? Etc.

    Notes with interest on planting trees and inventing some product for solar energy.

    Strongly suggests on planting trees in order to reduce the carbon dioxide.

    Repeats planting trees again and again

    Assumes this idea could somewhat change the climate change from worse to eventually returns to normal.

    Proposes about the plan of solar energy, many people quite agree with it, but the money on both of the plans will be the main problem for some citizens.
