OK,

Now you have worked together and ironed out a lot of the problems that you had before and you now have two "Super Awesome" resolutions. Good luck on your vote.

    This resolution reflects the developing and OPEC countries situation...

    Committee: Economic and Social Committee on Climate Change
    Countries: Brazil, Venezuela, China, India, Iran, Nigeria, Vietnam, Indonesia, Algeria, Angola, Kuwait

    Noting with concern the fact that the whole world faces a global climate change crisis,

    Acknowledging, developing countries in this committee want to express that we are very concerned about this situation,

    Pointing out that developing countries and OPEC countries are eager to participate in saving our damaged environment,

    Aware that developing countries and OPEC countries emissions of CO2 is one of the main factors that causes climate change,

    Bearing in mind that a great amount of carbon dioxide is produced by developing countries and that OPEC countries also account for 80% of the exported fossil fuels in the world,

    Further, countries such as China, India, and Brazil emit the most CO2 per capita out of all developing countries,

    Fully believing that by collaboration, we can make the world a better place for the next generation,

    Noting with great concern, the developing countries and OPEC countries would still like to state our solutions,

    1. Express that if first world countries propose plans that will help our environment and not affect our economy, we developing countries would be willing to oblige;

    2. Strongly requests that developing countries will use someway to make up for economic losses, such as providing us with loan from the World Bank or support the plan by distributing financial assistance;

    3. State that if developed countries have come up with plans that they hope other countries will cooperate on, it can not affect the countries’ GDP by more than 5%;

    4. State that if developing countries would like us to lower our emissions, we accept only when asked to lower 2% or less percentage of current emissions per year;

    5. Recommend that if developed countries want to lower the percentage of exported oil, OPEC countries will raise the price of the fossil fuel to balance the cost;

    6. Suggest that first world and developing countries should keep importing petroleum, but lessen part of their CO2 emission.

    Keeping in mind that more percentage of pollution came or are coming from developed or developing countries,
